Onomatopoeia Sounds are peculiar things, With “CRACK!” sounds in our ear, We understand them, But “KLANG!” sounds on paper, Don’t have a real noise, Which “BOOM!” sounds should. I encountered sounds years ago, As “SLAM!” went the iron door, In the prison I sat, With that “TIPPING!”, And that “TAPPING!”, And the men’s hands, That were  “CLAPPING!”, Those sounds were unbearable. Sounds have escaped me, And “CRASH!” disappear, In a humans mind, But “BANG!” sounds we forget, Our just our memoirs, Of these “WHOLLOP!“
